LAKE BENTON — In the late-2000s, Lake Benton made the decision to begin sending middle and high school students across state lines from Minnesota to South Dakota. However, Lake Benton Gymnasium still serves as host site for one volleyball match per season. "The gym is much smaller, which makes it far louder," ELB head coach Mikaela Hoeke said.
