HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: PAS participates in two scrimmages
The Pipestone Area Schools volleyball team will prepare for the season with a pair of upcoming scrimmages. The Arrows will square off versus Big South Conference foe Jackson County Central and several other schools on the road at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. Other squads set to appear in this scrimmage are Southwest Minnesota Christian, Worthington, Luverne and Canby. There will be a six-team scrimmage at PAS Gymnasium on Tuesday, Aug. 19, beginning at 12:25 p.m. In addition to Pipestone, the following schools will participate: Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, Murray County Central, Luverne and Hills-Beaver Creek.
