BELGRADE — Both Mason Fruechte and Lane Fruechte had plenty of success at the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguar Invitational on Friday, Jan. 2. Junior Mason Fruechte had the opportunity to wrestle against University of Minnesota signee Titan Friederichs from Watertown Mayer-Mayer Lutheran in the 127-pound championship bout. “It was a great opportunity to face an opponent the caliber of that,” PAS head coach Paul Young said, “and see that level.” Friederichs earned a 20-5 technical fall over Fruechte, with the match stopped at the 2-minute, 54-second mark.
