Mark Parsky (of McVey and Parsky LLC) is based in Chicago and represents manufacturers, retailers and insurance companies across the USA. There are likely few firms in the country that have tried more cases to verdict than McVey and Parsky. My relationship with Mark goes back to the early 2000’s where Mark and his firm acted as defense counsel for me – trying ladder cases around the country and acting as our national counsel. We wanted to touch on litigation trends and specifically the increasingly popular trend of litigation financing (an investment from outsiders that bet on the outcome of a case and fund it).
