Today’s message focuses on the words of Jesus in John 14:1-3, as He offers His prescription for heart trouble. In this familiar passage of Scripture, we first debunk some of the misconceptions about what Jesus was saying,  and then follow the divine prescription to living a life with God’s peace ruling our hearts instead of fear and anxiety.

Father’s Day is the annual anniversary of Pastor Paul’s first Sunday at HSWC, and he uses this as an opportunity to recast the vision for this church of  “Encountering God’s Love and Experiencing His Embrace”, by using the 3 Parables of Jesus in Luke 15, which underscore the truth of Abba’s unconditional love.  

In this continuing series on the Upper Room Discourse, today’s message focuses on the NEW COMMANDMENT Jesus gave His disciples before going to the Cross.  In this message, we learn the 5 reasons why this commandment that sounds “old” is truly a NEW COMMANDMENT, and one which we as believers are required to obey.  It is the distinctive of the New Testament church and also the proof that we are truly born-again.

In Today's message:  Palm Sunday was staged by Jesus in order to have the religious leaders plot to have him killed. Jesus knew that His hour had come, and He was to fulfill His Father’s plan for redeeming lost humanity by His death on the Cross.  Today, we see how passionately surrendered Jesus was to doing His Father’s will, even though it meant unspeakable pain and grief in order to accomplish it.
