    Jem Pagan leverages his 25+ years of experience as an IT executive to consult with enterprises on new market trends, disruptions, and innovations. He served as the Chief Enterprise Architect and Chief Information Security Officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office for Information Technology. He is a member of the New York and Boston CTO clubs, Open Networking Users Group, Chief Marketing Officers Association, Cyber Security Alliance, Cloud Standards Council, Open Internet eXchange and the Advisory Board of Continuum Data Center.

  • High-Tech Sunday - Ep. 2: Dr. Pamela McCauley

    We're joined today by 2019 Women of Color STEM Conference Technologist of the Year, Dr. Pamela McCauley. She is an internationally recognized Industrial Engineering researcher, STEM advocate, university leader, seasoned entrepreneur, innovator, and experienced Federal Program Director. Dr. McCauley is also an acclaimed keynote speaker, a dedicated professor, and Associate Dean of Academic Programs in the Wilson College of Textiles at North Carolina State University. She served as the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Program Director from 2018-2020. Dr. McCauley is an award-winning educator and author and her teaching efforts have resulted in the receipt of both the College of Engineering Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching and the Teaching Incentive Program Award (TIP).

  • High-Tech Sunday - Ep. 1: Dr. Mark Vaughn

    We're joined today by Dr. Mark D. Vaughn. He manages technical talent pipelining and leads the Office of STEM for Corning Incorporated. In this role, Dr. Vaughn is responsible for coordinating campus relations and college recruiting, working in collaboration with human resources managers, chiefs of staff, and delivery officers. Vaughn began his 32-year career with Corning in 1988 as a Research Technician. He earned a bachelor's degree in Physics from Alfred University, a Master of Science degree in Optics from the University of Rochester, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to accepting his current appointment, Dr. Vaughn was a Research Associate in Modeling and Simulation where he was the technical lead for optical network traffic demand modeling and access network cost modeling.


    In addition to his work with Corning Incorporated, Dr. Vaughn, who is an ordained minister, is a community leader who previously or currently serves on several Boards of Directors including the United Way of the Southern Tier, WSKG (TV and Radio) and Catholic Charities of Steuben County. He was also twice elected to serve on the Corning-Painted Post Board of Education.

  • High-Tech Sunday Introduction
    Beginning Sunday, June 7, 2020, CCG Media and the associated alumni communities will present High-Tech Sunday. High-Tech Sunday will be a one-hour conversational style program where alumni would engage and inform the audience about professional development utilizing spiritual philosophies.
     
    Weekly discussions will be focused around topics like professional development, science and technology, workforce and family balance, ethics, and respect for others.
     
    Stemming from each of these five principles, the weekly events will focus on discussing and analyzing the societal problems at the intersection of technology and culture through a lens informed by spiritual philosophies.
     
    So join us on Sunday, June 7, 2020 for the inaugural episode of High-Tech Sunday, as CCG’s own, Lango Deen, sits down for a conversation with Dr. Mark Vaughn.
