If you were to ask me "what is the quickest way for me to increase my happiness and joy in life'?

My answer would be: Protect your sphere.

In this episode I'll explain why the quote "You are the average of the 5 people that you are closest to (or spend the most time with)" is not accurate.

Yes it's incredibly important to surround yourself with amazing people and I'm all for it. 

But the reality is you are the average of EVERYONE and every thing that you allow into your proximity.

In this episode of the Mindset Hackers Podcast I'll dive into what that means to protect your sphere and how to instantly level up your happiness and joy in life by being more intentional about who you surround yourself with but also other areas where you can lighten up.

What is up Mindset Hackers! On todays episode we're going to go a little deeper on the topic of 'worthiness' for the things we want in life.

This includes financial, but also relationships, the lifestyle that we want or the career/job we want.

If you have ever felt like "I don't feel worthy" of the goals that you are pursuing, I want you to know this"

You are worthy, and you were never NOT worthy. 

You may have disconnected yourself from this but today we're going to get this back in line.

Yes, you do need to take action and 'do' certain things to get a result.

But the 'doings' are not what makes you worthy. 

You already are.

On today's episode of Mindset Hackers, Simon will talk about how to level up your income by getting your subconscious on board.

Imposter Syndrome seems to be the biggest buzz phrase lately in the coaching world and we are creating more of it by being so focused on it and labeling ourselves with it. 

Its a form of self doubt described as 'the fear of people thinking I'm a fraud' and it comes from our feeling of lack when we compare ourselves with people who are at the top of whatever niche we are in.

Unlike most forms of self doubt or self worth, Imposter Syndrome comes from us stepping into new areas and its just a different form of the 'voice' that we get from our subconscious trying to hold us back. 

Here's the kicker, its the comparison that causes the feeling of lack and we are in control of what we focus on.

Furthermore, when we label ourselves as having imposter syndrome, we are also labeling ourselves as a fraud which is not true. 

I'll also talk about the placebo effect and how powerful that can be. Let's rethink how we label ourselves and reframe this feeling as coming from being a badass and stepping into a bigger version of ourselves!

Mindset Hackers, you are all superheroes.

You have a superpower, if not many.

You have an origin story, a time in your life that forged you into the person that you are!

You have a tribe that you protect, just like Bruce Wayne protects Gotham City.

You also have an arch nemesis, a cause, situation or person that goes against your ideals and threatens the well being of your tribe.

But the most elusive is the Alter Ego, the voice inside of you that you cannot see that gives you 'reasons' (excuses) that hold you back and keep you from taking the action that you need to succeed. 

The alter ego will show up and tell you that:

You are not good enough.

There are too many people already doing it.

Fear of judgment, failure, success, imposter syndrome. 

These are all illusions. Learn to hear the alter ego speaking, because the alter ego is not you. 

Three weeks ago on the Mindset Hackers Podcast I had a wonderful guest Amy Porterfield on my show. If you don't know Amy Porterfield she is one of the top digital marketers and entrepreneurs and the host of the Online Marketing Made Easy Podcast.

During my interview with Amy I asked her to share with me one Mindset Hack that helps her keep going in her business and she said her favorite mantra is "I've Already Won" and then talked about a book called Gap and the Gain by Dan Sullivan and Benjamin Hardy.

Over the last couple of week I was able to listen to the Gap and the Gain and thought this would be an excellent topic to talk about here.
