Betty @mamabetty - who is a breathwork facilitator, women's empowerment coach and space-holder for healing events such as beautiful womens' circles  - lost her mum suddenly last summer. This episode discusses the wild journey of grief: shock, pain, loss and despair as well as the healing power of gratitude, presence, joy, community and magic in the mundane moments. In life, we are constantly experiencing cycles of death and rebirth and the lessons and reflections in this episode are applicable to so many situations, even outside of major loss. Please know that if you're going through something big and your experience is presenting itself differently to Betty, your experience is totally valid; we are not here to instruct or make anything wrong, simply to share experience and also raise the very scary (and socially tabbooed) topic of death and loss. We also talk about death from more "spiritual" perspectives so if that does not resonate: take what feels good / right and leave the rest. As Betty said after we stopped recording: "it's good to talk". We are all in this human experience together; you are never alone.
