Higher State Radio

This time round we had Billie George step in for a mix.

Here's what she had to say about it:

"There’s a lot of mixes to chill out to doing the rounds at the moment for obvious reasons, so I wanted to bring a little more intensity to proceedings with a bit of left field throb. This mix is all about overlaying percussive textures and chunky beat to deliver that energy infused vibe. Recorded in bedroom at my mum and dad’s it’s a sonic reflection of me kind of going a bit mad during quarantine, but in a good way."

For tracks post comments.

Tracks from Morenas, Endangered People, Jus Us, Manoo, Talaboman, Iron Curtis, Halo Varga and more, with remixes from Enzo Elia, Red Axes, L.B. Dub Corp, Powder and more.

This time a mix put together by one of our friends Simoon Pedro.

A nice dancefloor mix with summery vibes from start to finish.

Here's what Simoon had to say about it: " For me this mix was all about memories of the dancefloor before Lockdwon. Hoping people enjoy this and to be back out DJing ASAP. "

This time a mix put together by one of our friends Nic aka Jo Johnson.

Jo has just release an album titled 'Her', which can be found everywhere music is listened to and bought.

Some words about it: "My intention was to have an interesting afterparty vibe. Kinda chilled mix but also groovy enough to dance to".

It does exactly that with high energy party flavours and some old school classics, even a head nod to UKG.
