It's almost Christmas!!! This episode we talk about Christmas, gift buying, and what matters the most. We also speak about how fast time goes and do some reminiscing on our childhoods. We all miss eating oatmeal/cereal and watching our shows right? We talk about buying land and potentially moving out of state as well. Also, we hit on politics, media and the state of the world tearing friendships and families apart and learning how to navigate people thinking differently than you.

In this episode we discuss the little coupon code filled drama with the Teen Mom Family Reunion between Jenelle and Ashley. We also discuss reality tv in general and how there are misconceptions of whats scripted, edited, etc. Also we get into the fact that maybe some things that are "toxic" for some are normal and okay by others and to not be ashamed of that. Not everything is perfect and no one should have to pretend that it is. We talk about social media changing the way that we look at life, relationships, money, etc and it making it very hard to just be imperfect.

Hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving! We are happy to be back this week! We talked about how our Thanksgiving went and had a heated discussion about whether using Velveeta in mac n cheese is a big no no and whether putting black olives in potato salad is ok. What do y'all think? Ashley also speaks about people commenting on her weight and how people will have something to say regardless if you are "too small" or "too big" (she also has a big announcement). We also got into setting boundaries with family, friends, and everyone in your life. Sometimes it takes years to learn how to stand up for yourself but always stay true to yourself and express your feelings whenever you feel you need to, no matter who you are speaking to. 

In today's episode we discuss Britney Spears being free from her 13 year conservatorship and how her life could change moving forward as well as the trauma that could have stemmed from being controlled for that long. We also got into heavy topics and discussed cultural appropriation, cancel culture, and being respectful of other people's cultures and experiences. We discuss the importance of wanting to come together and learn/grow as a society and how anyone who isn't willing to do that could hold us back from moving forward.

This week on I Need Wine we discuss the extremely heartbreaking circumstances surrounding the Astroworld Festival and Travis Scott. How much is he to blame? We also speak on getting botox, deciding to get surgery vs. just trying to workout and how social media can change those decisions. We talk about wanting to show our kids the value in things other than clothes, bags, cars, etc. We've all likely struggled at some point with comparing ourselves to others on social media and really having to take a step back and really see what is important.

We have our good friend Ebony on with us this week and we speak on picking halloween costumes for our kids and how fast they are growing up! They like one character or toy and then we blink and they're onto the next thing! We also talk about the difference between drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana and how they can be looked at very differently, but are they that different? Then we somehow transition into everything sex: threesomes, sex stories, sex during that time of the month, and more!

Our first official Wine Wednesday! We speak about the crazy storm we had in Northern California and all of the flooding, etc. We also give a little update on Brian Laundrie since there was an update given right after we recorded last week's episode! Ashley speaks about the Tara Lee adoption scandal and we touch on human trafficking as well. We end today's episode with our reactions to some of our listener's crazy confessions!

Back from a little hiatus and we jump right into some true crime (our favorite)! We discuss Gabby Petito, Scott Peterson, and a couple other cases. We also talk about the importance of being able to call your parents if you're drunk or in trouble and that we want to be those parents that remember that we were kids once too. Because imagine the bad things that can happen if you don't feel safe enough to call your parents in fear of getting in trouble.
