I think it is safe to assume that when Jesus asks for just one thing, there will be a good reason to respond accordingly. Unless of course the one thing is the one thing that is so hard and unforgiving. This morning we listen to Jesus tell a rich man what he must give up to follow him. Is this invitation for us as well?

What a beautiful story of people bringing little children to Jesus! But why did the disciples want to stop children from coming? Join us as we unpack this familiar story and uncover what Jesus has to say about the kingdom of God on his terms.

This morning we venture into one of the more mysterious and miraculous accounts in the gospel of Mark. Most Bibles label this scene, "the transfiguration." Yet, there is a voice from the cloud that issues a strong word from above. Are we willing to listen?

What would you pay in order to follow Jesus? It almost sounds silly to even ask such a question. But, Jesus certainly gives an invitation to follow at a certain price. Join us as we hear Jesus say clearly, "Whoever wants to become my follower must deny - take - and follow."
