The Message translates this last commandment as "don’t set your heart on anything that belongs to your neighbor." This morning we conclude our series on the 10 words with a call to contentment as we pursue life with God and one another. Will we be willing to join Israel at the base of Sinai and commit to having no other gods?

No one likes a "tattle-tale." And yet, children and adults love to share (and even embellish) words about someone else. Words can certainly bring harm to a relationship! Join us as we renew our commitment to living lives of honor and holiness in relationship with one another.

Desire, Belong

Of all the commandments, this might be the most simple and memorable. Who hasn't been instructed from the earliest age to "not take what is yours?" Yet, there is a deeper, more intentional invitation about those things that belong to someone else. This morning we imagine a life where there is no desire to take what does not belong to you.

As we consider the invitation to live in covenant relationship with our spouses, what kind of commitment does God intend? What defines the invitation to not commit adultery? Join us as we venture into the most critical relationships of our lives and examine how covenants of love matter most.
