The beatitudes are one of the most familiar teaching of Jesus. But what do they really mean? Join us as we unpack the blessed life according to Jesus.

Join us as we start at the end of the sermon. It is at the end where we find Jesus making the clearest invitation to actually live like this. The only question is, will we?

This morning we launch our new series through the Sermon on the Mount. We start by noticing the initial invitation of Jesus as he is "proclaiming the good news of the kingdom" and ask, "Is it worth walking this way?"

The wait is over, God has come, the light has come into the world! This morning we join John's gospel and hear that the light has come into the world and the "darkness has not overcome it." Joy to the world, the Lord of love has come!

Join us as we lean into Mary's song, the Magnificat. Mary is singing with great joy a song that is sure to brighten the darkness of her world and time. And if we choose, her song can shed light for us as well.

Today we lean in and listen to Zechariah as he prophesies the peace for those willing to listen to his son, John. But are we willing to receive the gift of a non-anxious message of peace that Christ will bring? 

This morning we begin our advent series by pondering a peculiar text from Matthew's gospel about the coming of Christ. We must "be ready" and yet prepare ourselves with the illuminating hope of Christ's coming again.

We conclude our series by exploring Paul's prayer for the Ephesian church and his desire for their "strength with power through the Spirit." Join us as we discover why our gathering on Sunday is a place of great significance for the Spirit to empower us to form habits for our Christlikeness in the world.

This morning we join Jesus and listen as he empowers the seventy to "ask the Lord of the harvest" to send them out as "lambs into the midst of wolves." Join us as we learn how to do the "hard work" of discipleship and the dis-empowering rhythms of being sent into the world for His sake.
