Some people live their entire lives living in fear - living enslaved. Fear that they might get caught, fear of the light exposing their darkness. People that I know and love - I see them live this way. And let me tell you - that is no way to live. Faith over fear. Light over darkness. Connection over isolation. God wants you free. 

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.  Galatians 5:1
Tonight I think there are three places you could find yourself and hear from me I’ve been in each place and have great compassion for wherever you are tonight. 

• You are living a life in bondage, captivity, enslaved without a relationship with Jesus. 

Tonight I want you to know there is hope for you.

• You have come to know the love of Jesus and yet you still are living in bondage to something. 

Tonight I want you to know there is rest for you.

• You know the love of Jesus and are walking in His freedom for you.

Tonight I want you to remember the great price of your freedom and stand firm.

Nothing can separate us from Christ’s love! Why? God loves us simply because of His choice, not because of anything in us (which may change), nor anything around us (which may change). He loves us because He loves us.

This is the power of the gospel through adoption. GOD LOVES YOU BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU. Nothing can change that, not even your doubts. So, embrace it. Live in it.

Greer’s 3 Challenges to HSM:
1. Daily reflect on your salvation from death to life.
2.Fill your mind with Holy things.
3.Rely on the Spirit in the fight for purity and holiness in your bodies.

We are not slaves to sin, IT IS POSSIBLE to live in freedom from EVERY temptation. Walk in freedom tonight, fight to live to God, knowing that Christ has done the finished work! 

In summary of our sinful condition and its effects, Paul writes, “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” 

He’s referencing Psalm 36:1, identifying the root cause of sin as the failure to fear and honor God. Any society that commonly assumes that God will not discipline sin in this life or judge it in the next will have no fear of God and will therefore give itself increasingly to evil…

I don’t believe anyone in our society today has more information and opinions thrown at them than teenagers. And our country is giving itself increasingly to evil…where will you find yourself?
