PART 2 End of Tour with Pete Thron.

On this evening we have in studio, Pete Thron. He was a rising star in the NYPD Housing Authority Division during the era of the war on drugs(crack epidemic)in upper Manhattan.  Conducting undercover operations, dealing with confidential informants and making arrest. Then in a split second, his career came crashing down as a  buy-and-bust operation goes awry making him a victim of the city’s brutal police politics. Finding himself behind bars and betrayed by the job he loved and bled for. From walking the beat in Harlem, to walking the rec yard in the New York penal system.  On this warm June summer evening, live in studio we have the pleasure to sit down with Kathy Rodriguez. She's an open book, she explains her early years growing up in the inner city then drug using and selling that lead her to saying goodbye to her young children for a 8 year incarceration sentence. We speak openly about her time inside, transition/mental health to her new reality and how she positively applied her time inside. Her story is still in transition and evolving on a daily, so please listen in to see  where she is at today and giving back at every and any turn that she can. No doubt in my mind that she will return to the show in the future with more accolades and personal triumphs. Kathy, thank you for sharing this evening with Ramon and myself.

This evening in studio we have the pleasure to sit down with Ret Sgt. Tom Pentalow, he wore many hats in his tenure with his agency. We talk about retirement, going back to school and a whole bunch of other things. Tom's new mission is to help anyone in the first responder circle dealing with the daily horrors they face. hope to see you again soon Tom.

In this episode, Retired Federal Agent and College Basketball Coach Bob Starkman shares with us his experiences from working inside a prison, then working narcotics on the street, eventually ending up in Miami seizing  kilos of coke and duffle bags of money during the infamous  "Cocaine Cowboys" days. Meanwhile  coaching basketball and being a family man. He highly elaborates his mindset  on teamwork, how it has helped him personally  and professionally. Also using it to help his players on and off the court. Bob throws us for a loop when he brings his Foreword writer of his book "Inside Both Courts" Ret.FBI Special Agent Joe Pistone aka "The real Donnie Brasco"  Joe does some great  sharing with us(just listen!) When these two gentleman walked in the room, its like your cool uncle just walk in the room(But you know damn well you're gonna respect them.Fuggedaboutit) We had a fabulous exchange  with these two salt of the earth dudes! sorry for the hold up, Coach Starkman already  hit me with a delay of game and traveling! I wouldn't call these guys good fellas, I would call them great fellas.

Jimmy sits down with Ed Calderon. Ed has worked in the fields of counter narcotics, organized crime investigations in the northern-border region of Mexico. Also worked and coordinated executive  protection for high-level government officials and visiting dignitaries. He has had the privilege  of sharing his expertise  with members of federal law Enforcement  including  the FBI, BORTAC, Navy SEALS. Currently Ed travels North America doing security consulting and conducting  seminars and private training courses in anti-abduction, escapology, unarmed combat region specific protection work and unconventional  edged weapons.
