He is married to Muriel who works as a secondary school teacher. They've been married for almost 3 years now and they have a son named Asher Ranajay Kumar who'd be turning one in August 2022. Sarath and Muriel serve in Grace Assembly Klang with the youth group. Sarath is also an Elder in the church, overseeing the youth work.
