Highway Tomorrow

This was the final day celebration of an 11 day event that takes place every 13 years to honor the community and the temples of the village. 25 minutes

Balijski Nowy Rok rozpoczyna się Dniem Ciszy. Poprzedza go jednak noc pełna hałasu, zamieszania i chaosu – parada złych demonów, która stanowi przeciwieństwo dnia spokoju i refleksji.

The Balinese new year begins with A Day of Silence. But it is preceded by a night of noise, disruption, and chaos – a parade of evil demons that counters the day of peace and reflection. These grotesque effigies, called Ogoh-Ogoh, come to life and are animated in the dark of night accompanied by screaming, yelling, and the clashing of gamelan instruments. Join us in a small village for the celebration.

My personal reflections on fitness and aging. I feel like I'm going through a transformation in health late in life, like nothing I expected or have ever experienced. It's all been great.

Why is health care in the USA the most expensive in the world? I recently had treatment for cancer in Germany and compare it to the same treatment I had in the USA seven years ago. And I'm going to elaborate in my discussion some of my ideas about why this is the case. Listen and comment.

Join me with Deborah Parrish in a fascinating conversation that explores life, creativity, and the unexpected twists that shape our journeys. Deb's career has taken a remarkable path—from accounting to creative strategy, and from forecasting the future to embracing the art of foresight. Along the way, we discuss transformative experiences in Bali, the importance of curiosity, and how to break free from conventional thinking. This episode is a thought-provoking exploration of how to navigate life’s challenges, stay open to possibilities, and find meaning in the everyday. Tune in for a conversation that will inspire you to think beyond the box and embrace the beauty of the unknown.

Zibi had our astrology charts done by a famous Polish astrologist who then took our two charts and created a relationship profile. Zibi translated her work and ran it through AI, again using NotebookLM. Tell us what you think of this AI created podcast. More? Never again?

This is a little different and unusual. Zibi created an AI generated podcast from NotebookLM. It is based on my love of Balinese gamelan music and Colin McPhee's MUSIC IN BALI. Tell me what you think.
