2022 was a year of transition for us. We had some big transitions happen in our lives throughout the past year - a new house, a camper, job changes, and most importantly, the birth of our daughter. While we had some focus diverted from Hiking Thru Life, we did not lose sight of the core values we have that inspired Hiking Thru Life and the value of the outdoors. We are now just hiking at a different pace these days. One thing we have come to appreciate is that we don't always have to accomplish the grandest goals, rather we need to adjust to the situation in front of us and sometimes those adjustments can be our greatest accomplishments.

Life is full of ups, downs, twists, and turns so we take time to discuss and reflect on our own current life transitions. We call this the "flip-flop" episode because you will see our year has been full of thoughts going all over the place. We've had a year since starting our van life journey last summer to think about where the next steps should go and while we haven't been quite sure what direction to go, we've been happy to have a roof over our head while we waited out the year.
Take a listen to this episode to check in on our latest life updates... especially a new family member!
