As the world was beginning to shut down in 2020, two campers in their 70s headed up into the Alpine National Park for a weekend away. Over 1,100 Japanese prisoners of war attempted to escape from the prisoner of war camp in Cowra, New South Wales, resulting in the largest prison break in Australian history.
