Up that beautiful hill path.

走上那条美丽的山路

You said the hillside was dotted

你说 那坡上种满了新茶

With new tea trees and love peas

还有细密的相思树

It seemed I had promised you to go

我好像答应过你

On a spring afternoon long ago

在一个遥远的春日下午

Tonight, under the light

而今夜 在灯下

When I was combing my graying hair

梳我初白的发

It suddenly came to me the promise

忽然记起了一些没能

That I failed to live up to

实现的诺言 一些

And I was overwhelmed by some inexplicable sadness.
