Check out this episdoe that includes an amazing interview with someone who has seen the effects of attacks on unions. Please, share what you hear and tell people the impact this bill will have on everyday citizens. Several things are talked about in this episode. I start with The Beast of Bodmin Moor and some parallels with a beast in the Ozarks. Then there is some of the policies that continiously blow my mind, including Prop A (Missouri), Judge Brett Kavanaugh (Federal), Trump meeting with May (International), and the horrific attitudes toward the “zero tolerance” immigration policy (International).

In this episode, I recap some of the things I learned from the National Association of Social Workers conference in DC. Found out my perspective was definitely scewed and a bit too optimistic about this fall’s elections. Biggest thing I learned…even if you think you’re the most progressive person you could be, think again and be aware of engrained biases.
