Check out this episdoe that includes an amazing interview with someone who has seen the effects of attacks on unions. Several things are talked about in this episode. I start with The Beast of Bodmin Moor and some parallels with a beast in the Ozarks. Then there is some of the policies that continiously blow my mind, including Prop A (Missouri), Judge Brett Kavanaugh (Federal), Trump meeting with May (International), and the horrific attitudes toward the “zero tolerance” immigration policy (International).

In this episode, I recap some of the things I learned from the National Association of Social Workers conference in DC. Found out my perspective was definitely scewed and a bit too optimistic about this fall’s elections. Biggest thing I learned…even if you think you’re the most progressive person you could be, think again and be aware of engrained biases.
