On October 5, 1947, at 3:00 in the afternoon, 17 people stepped forward to become charter members of a new Baptist church called Calvary Baptist Church. In time the name would be changed to Hilldale Baptist Church. Today we celebrate 70 years of ministry and mission, and our pastor is speaking on "Living and Leaving a Legacy."
