The first three chapters of 1 Thessalonians are all about thanksgiving for the Thessalonians' faith in spite of persecution. In these chapters, we learn what the best thing and worst thing a person can do are.

This Sunday we began a new series in 1 Thessalonians. Today, we take a look at how the Thessalonian church began in the book of Acts.

As astonishing as the raising of Lazarus was, Lazarus would die again. So why did Jesus raise Lazarus from the dead? To point to the only miracle that lasts forever.

In this second week exploring the story of the resurrection of Lazarus, we encounter in Jesus the God who mourns with his people.
