Most people have a habit of delaying getting to the right thing. Fear and procrastination are big obstacles. Today we look at some people who delayed doing what they should be doing. In some cases, delaying until it was too late and in other cases eventually getting it right to the betterment of their world. They all serve as good examples to those who pay attention.
Back in the days of Hitler, Deitrich Bonhoffer was an outspoken critic of the Nazis and an ardent supporter of the church. He once said, "The Church is the Church only when it exists for others ..." That is a serious commitment. Today's episode looks at some of the elements that make this so serious.
Sheep were on every hillside in the Holy Land. Jesus drew attention to them as illustrative of people. We need to think of the people we can find as needing our input to point the way and relate to them.

People reach points of decision to move from totally unaware to an increasing awareness of how to have a positive relationship with God. They don't always realize going forward that they made a decision until they look back. Over time they can recognize how they moved from Oblivious to Pondering to Engaged to Need. This isn't just a personal journey it is a journey to the church described in 1 Timothy 3:14-15.
