Dear Hillside Family.  Mercy, Mercy, Mercy - the theme for this week’s sermon.  Those of you who are jazz aficionados will point out that this is the title to a jazz classic by the Cannonball Adderley Quintet.  Sorry to disappoint, but our focus will not be on jazz but it will most definitely be on mercy - our need for it, the great mercy that God gives to us and the responsibility we have to be merciful to one another.  We will look at mercy through the lenses of three parables; “The Homeless Man At Starbucks”, “The Ungrateful Servant” and “The Kind Bishop”.  See you Sunday at Hillside!

Why not call someone you’ve haven’t seen for a while and invite them to join you for the service? Then why not take them out to coffee and blueberry muffins afterwards?
