This morning we are continuing through the book of Romans and find ourselves in chapter 3. Up to this point, Paul had written the description of unsaved persons and the indictment that awaits them. He then turns to the church members to expose them of their own sins and hypocrisies. Now, Paul is addressing mankind as a whole, lost or saved, Jew and Gentile, enlightening us of the fact that there is none righteous, and none that seeks God. Everyone is a sinner, but there is hope in Christ, for He is the difference among sinners between those saved by grace, and those whose lives will no survive the judgment to come.
