Hindsightless

Where in I discuss world building, ask a big question, and talk a little bit about how crazy my campaign is right now. I have messages from two first time callers, RFED as well as Rob C from Down in a Heap. I also respond to Jason‘s invitation to a game.

Wherein I reflect on my session of the Black Hack 2e, as run by the benevolent Dave Aldridge of dpercentile fame. In brief, I had an amazing time playing with Collin, Jason, John, & TJ. Thanks having me, boys!

Here's that West Marches style game I was talking about:

Wherein I roll up two characters, a warrior and a wizard, for my upcoming game of the Back Hack 2e.

Where and I discuss my enthusiasm for getting to play in an upcoming Osr game. This episode also features a very thoughtful and well spoken dressing down from the amazing Julz From NZ😎

Wherein I talk about a nbuch of stuff while I make chicken soup and Bob Segar plays in the background. I've made this episode as sim0le for myself to put out as possible as try previous two episodes where such a pain in the ass.

Thanks to Julz & Jason for the super rad call in's!

Wherein I talk about player reactions to bad die rolls, tough fights, and other times when their character is challenged. No, this isn't about you. Or you. And certainly not you.

Before that, I'll dive into some great messages from the like of Andy, Randy, Lieren, Jeff, and Jason. As always, thank you all so much for taking the time to call in and share your thoughts with me.

This episode has taken me FOREVER to put out. I am glad to be done with it. Some of the delays were my fault, others were Achor's fault. But here it is. I hope you enjoy and thanks to everyone who took the time to call in. Sorry it took me so long to get to these.

Wherein I give a behind the scenes glimpse into our DIY, seat-of-our-pants process for putting out the Weal or Woe podcast. Thinking about starting an actual play? Wondering what goes into that? Here's how the Weal crew does it. Hopefully there's something in here that someone can get out of my ramblings.
