After I finished posting the blog ‘ When Rama Realized he Was Brahman’. I recalled another one from the Puranas.

This incident explains the law of Karma(Please read my posts on this under Hinduism)

Lord Krishna spent a long time  on the Earth during the Dwapara Yuga and the Devas were concerned about his absence from the Vaikunta, the Abode of Lord Vishnu.

They consulted the Great  Dhurvasa Rishi and he consoled them saying the time for Krishna was fast approaching.

The Devas asked him,

‘No body can kill Krishna and we dare not ask him for Dehavyhoam (leaving the Body)

Dhurvasa smiled and told them to watch.

After the Mahabharata War was over, the Pandavas and what remained of the Kauravas , along with the Yadavas (Krishna’s Clan) , were sitting together and fooling around the banks of the River Yamuna.

All of them were drunk.

Lord Krishna’s son, Sambhavan, playful by nature, dressed himself as a pregnant woman and with his cronies approached a group of Seers(Rishis) and prostrated before them and requested,

‘Please Bless Me for Safe delivery’

The Rishis said,

‘We know, you are the son of Lord Krishna, yet, we Bless you with Safe Delivery of a Wooden ladle(உலக்கை ) and your Clan will be destroyed by it’

When Lord Krishna was told of it, he shrugged and said he could do nothing about it!

They had a  Wooden ladle delivered after nine months, and to ensure that it was destroyed, they broke it into pieces and immersed it in the river.

The bottom portion ,made of iron was swallowed by a Shark and it was caught by a Fisherman.

While seasoning the Fish, the fisherman found the iron piece and sold it to a Hunter.

The Hunter , his fixed it to the tip of his Arrow.

After some time, the same group was engaged in a drinking bout at the same place.

Salliya, the Man who drove and deserted Karna in the Battle field at a crucial juncture was there.

Salliya was the Father in Law of Karna.

One among the gathering remarked,

‘Look,here is a fellow who deserted his king and relative at a critical time, who was on the losing side ,eating and drinking with us, the Victors’

Salliya retorted saying , ‘A bunch of Herdsman need not talk about a Kshatriya’

And a Battle of words soon became a full-fledged fight among all.

They went on attacking each other.

As they had no Arms,they plucked the ‘கோரைப்புல்’-Nut Grass  around them and attacked each other with the Nut Grass,

As soon as they plucked them they became the Wooden Ladles and killed those attacked with them.

Barring Krishna, the Yadava Clan was wiped out.

(The Immersed wooden pieces , on reaching the shores , grew into Nut Grass and became weapons; that is the reason why Nut Grass is not used in Religious Ceremonies but Kusa Grass is used).

Some time later when Lord Krishna was roaming the Forests , he became tired and rested under a Tree, lying in a Fetal Position.

The Hunter saw, what looked like a Deer from a distance’ sent an Arrow.

It struck Krishna at the Center of His Foot and He lay dying.

The Hunter , on reaching Krishna begged for Mercy and felt remorse.

Krishna said to him,

” Don’t worry, it is not your fault.

During Ramavataras Rama,, I killed Vaali, hiding behind a Tree.

Now I am repaying it.

I fulfilled my duty of serving Lakshmana who served me as a younger brother during Ramavatar, as Bala rama as my elder brother in this Avatar as Krishna and breathed his last.

Even God can not escape the Law of Karma, once born!

After the Mahabharata War was over,only Ten remained alive, Three from the Kaurava Side and Seven from the Pandavas. They are,

Pandavas 5

Lord Krishna,

Sathyaki.

From the Kaurava Side Aswathama, Kruthavarma and Krupa.(Mahabharata ,Adi Parva)

At Dwaraka, the Yadava Clan was in tact, save those killed in the Mahabharata War( Krishna’ Army fought on the side of the Kauravas)

The Yadav Clan were playing around and one of the Yadavas dressed up Krishna’s son Sambhava(born of Jambavathi), as a pregnant woman and asked the Rishis who were passing by, what child the lady would beget(Sambhava)

The Rishi replied that knew that it is Krishna’s son Sambhava and he would beget a  Pounder (used to break Grains- Ulakkai) and it it would destroy the Yadava vamsa.

On being informed of this Lord Krishna smiled and said that no body can change the Curse of a Brahmin.

After ten months a Pounder was born of Sambhava.

Thinking that they were clever, the Yadavas, broke the wooden pestle(Ulakkai) into small pieces an threw them into the sea in Dwaraka.

The tip of the pestle,made of iron was swallowed by a Fish, and it was caught by a Fisherman.

He found the piece and fixed it to the tip of his arrow.

The wooden pieces  reached ashore and grew into a bush of Long Grass.

While this is so, one day the Yadavas were drinking and an altercation ensued as who betrayed the Kauravas the most.

A riot ensued and even Krishna was attacked by his Clan.

His Chariot was dragged into the sea, so were His Panchyutas, which went perambulated Lord Krishna clock-wise and disappeared.

From the Balaram’s face a Serpent came out and entered Heavens and Balram was no more

Lord Krishna lay under a tree and was taking rest.

The hunter who had the iron tip in his arrow , from a distance saw, thought he saw a Deer and sent in his arrow.

It struck Krishna and he left His Mortal Coil.

The Hunter prayed for forgiveness.

Krishna informed him that it was because of the Curse, he had nothing to do with His Death and granted him Vaikunta.

As there were none to perform the last Rites,Arjuna performed the last Rites of Krishna.

Krishna’s Father , Vasudeva was the brother of Kunti (Mother of the Pandavas)

Krishna and Arjuna were First Cousins.

Arjun married Subhadra (Krishna’s Half-Sister)

The nearest surviving relation on the mother’s side were the Pandavas.

Technically Yudhistra should have performed, being the eldest off the Pandavas.

*Arjuna could have performed the last Rites because, in addition to being Krishna’s cousin, he was also marrired Krishna’s half sister (  smriti grants this Right if no others are available) and As Krishna put it in Bhagavad Gita, Arjuna was His dearest Friend and as Arjuna put it Arjuna was Krishna’ most deovted  Disciple.)

*Purana merely states Arjuna performed Krishna’s last Rites. The interpretation is mine, based on Smriti.

Deavaki ,Vasudeva and Rukmini left their bodies by entering Fire.

The history of India is not what we are taught in text books.

The Dates are deliberately pushed forward to give Christianity an edge in terms of antiquity.

Ramayana, Mahabharata,Tamil classics are dated at ridiculously later dates.

Ramayana is dismissed as Myth,Rig Veda ,acknowledged as the oldest literary work,is dated around 5000 BC!

Archeological finds push these dates back, especially the finding of,

Poompuhar,Tamil Nadu,11000 years,

Tamil site near Chennai, India,A million years,

Adichanallur,Anbil plates,Keezhadi,to cite a few.

Based on the available evidence these

could be dated at least 11000 years back.

And we have Tamil classics,Sangam Literature.

Tamil classics refer to Ramayana, Mahabharata and Lord Krishna repeatedly.

Early Tamil Chera King,Udhiyan Cheralaathan fed the Kaurava and Pandava armies during the Mahabharata war.

Madurai Meenakshi’s father Makaratdwaja,also called Saranga fought along side the Pandavas in the Mahabharata war.

The Three Crowned Kings of Tamilakam trace their origin to Solar and Lunar Dynasties.

Lord Rama belonged to Ikshvsku Dynasty,the Solar Dynasty.

His ancestor,Manu,the first human,was from South India.

He moved to Ayodhya with his son Ikshvsku, because of a Tsunami in the South of Vindhya Mountains.

Ikshvaku founded the Solar Dynasty,Surya Vamsa.

Mani’s daughter,Ila,who was left in the South founded the Lunar Dynasty,Chandra Vamsa.

The Tamil kings belonged to one of these two dynasties.

The origin of the ancient Tamil kings is interesting.

Chola inscriptions refer Cholas to be of Solar Dynasty of Lord Rama and Cholas state they belong to Kashyap Gotra.

Of of the three crowned kings,Moovendar,Pandyas are reported to be more ancient.

So are the Cheras.

Chera and Pandya took part in Mahabharata war.

Then we have the daughter of Manu,Ila,who founded the Luna Dynasty.

Ila Dynasty spread throughout the world,Ailas.

Sri Lanka,which was a part of India in those ancient times was the centre of this Kingdom.

So we have these two dynasties spread throughout the world.

Atlantis legends mention Rama kingdom and Sumerian Kings’ List mention Dasaratha,Rama and Bharatha.

There is one more Dynasty which has gone unnoticed.

The Ila.

This Dynasty,with evidence surfacing now,seems to have co existed with the Tamilakam Moovendar and could have preceded them.

They were called Ay Dynasty and they ruled from Vizhinjam,now called Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

I have written earlier that Padmanabha Swamy temple, Kerala is about 25000 years old.

Ay in Tamil means mother.

It could denote the Ila Dynasty.

Ay in Tamizh means Mother.

The Ay Dynasty ruled from from Vizhinjam.

The had a special relationship with Lord Krishna and Krishna was their family deity.

Ayar in Tamil means Yadava,the community Lord Krishna belongs to.

Taking into consideration that Krishna Married a Pandyan princess and had his daughter Married to a Pandyan princess,it is possible and more than probable that the offspring of Krishna’s daughter ruled from Vizhinjam, Thiruvananthapuram.

‘Another important line of chieftains of Tamil Nadu during the sangam period with whom krishna was intimately associated was the Ay. The were known to call krishna as their god.Krishna is accepted as their chief god

To me the Indian Texts are History and there is ample physical evidence to prove what has been stated in them.

They have been validated by archeology, astronomy, internal and external evidence of the west’s interpretation of Indian History.

I have written quite a few articles on the validation of Indian History, be it the Age of the Rig Veda, Rama and Krishna, Agastya, Tamil Kings, Shiva, Murugan,,the Age of Thiruvannamalai, Tirupati temples.

I have been intrigued by the worship of Aravan, son of Lord Krishna since early ages in Tamil Nadu.

There is a Temple for Aravan ,Koothaandaar Koil, near Tindivanam , about 3 hours from Chennai, where a festival is conducted years by the Third gender for Iravan.Aravan is called thus in Tamil as words starting from R is not allowed by Tamil Grammar.

And the practice of Bul fighting called Manju Virattu in Tamil from ancient times in Tamil Nadu has Krishna connection.

Bull Fighting , which is famous in Spain was started by Krishna!

And the term Eru Thazhuvudhal, that of  a jilted lover embracing death by climbing a special tree, also has Krishna connection!

I shall be writing on this in detail.

Meanwhile, I came across information that Krishna’s sons expanded their Kingdom throughout India and all the Kingdoms of India descended from either Rama or Krishna.

‘The main part that Mahabharata mentions that Arjuna established the son of Kritavarma at Mrittikavati and the great-grandson of Krishna, Vajra at Indraprastha. Some Puranas mention Vajra was established at Mathura. But these two kings did survive out of the Yadava clan. The Yadava clan was not completely wiped out but it’s influence reduced considerably.

The Abhiras were becoming strong since the Mahabharata war. Their kingdom was in the Sindhu region. The control of Purus and Yadavas reduced considerably on that region after the war. The Abhiras attacked Arjuna when he was taking back the Yadava women. The Abhiras took away some of these women. If the Mahabharata had actually happened around 3000 BC, then this entry of Abhiras in the Saraswati region could very well explain the Harappan civilization which sprung around the same time. The Gupta dynasty is claimed to have sprung from these Abhiras. The Yadava kingdoms did exist, but became less in number. The one Yadava kingdom that existed was the Devagiri kingdom in Maharashtra whose rulers claim direct descent from Krishna. There still exist people with the surname Yadav in north India who claim descent from the royal Yadavas. Apart from that, Nanda, Krishna’s foster father was also included in the Yadava clan and his descendants called Nandavanshi Yadavas still exist…..”

can be inferred from the vamshanucharita (genealogy) sections of a number of major Puranas that, the Yadavas spread out over the Aravalli region, Gujarat, the Narmada valley, the northern Deccan and the eastern Ganges valley.[10] TheMahabharata and the Puranas mention that the Yadus or Yadavas, a confederacy comprising numerous clans were the rulers of the Mathura region.[11] The Mahabharata also refers to the exodus of the Yadavas from Mathura to Dvaraka owing to pressure from the Paurava rulers of Magadha, and probably also from the Kurus”

Yadava dynasty, rulers of a 12th–14th-century Hindu kingdom of central India in what is now the Indian state of Maharashtra. Originally a feudatory of the Eastern Chalukyas of Kalyani, the dynasty became paramount in the Deccan under Bhillama (c. 1187–91), who founded Devagiri (later Daulatabad) as his capital. Under Bhillama’s grandsonSinghana (reigned c. 1210–47) the dynasty reached its height, as the Yadava campaigned against the Hoysalas in the south, the Kakatiyas in the east, and the Paramaras and Chalukyas in the north.

The Yadavas spread to me Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

The Velir Kingdoms were , at one point of time, the Major allies of Chola Kings.

Mexico was inhabited by the Aztecs before the Spanish occupation.

The term Aztec might have its roots in Astika, meaning one who believes in the Authority of the Vedas.

A festival is celebrated at the same time as our Navaratri; it is called “Rama-Sita”

The Mexican national throne preserved in the National Museum of Mexico bears the typical Hindu Buddhist disc of the Sun.

The Mexicans also had the Hindu Simhasan (Lion throne).

 Temple of Shiva was found in Mexico city.

The largest temple in Mexico City was the temple of Lord Shiva, the War God of the Mexican whom the Spanish invaders found entwined by golden snakes. This temple was built in the 15th century and had 3000 Deva-Dasis to perform religious ceremonials. The Mexican temple had the Gopuram style. Here you see a reconstruction of the same after it was destroyed by the Spaniards. The temples at Tikal in Mexico also bore the imprint of our famous temple at Madura. No wonder E. G. Squire in his American archaeological researches in 1851 wrote

“It is believed a proper examination of these monuments would disclose the fact that in their interior structure as well as in their exterior form and obvious purposes these buildings correspond with great exactness to those of Hindustan and the Indian Archipelago.”

The fact that the Hindus were capable of sailing to far off countries like Mexico and Peru is proved by the official historian of Mexico, who in his book published by the Mexican Foreign Office.

“Those who first arrived on the continent later to be known as America were groups of men driven by that mighty current that set out from India towards the east.”

The U. S. Ambassador Miles Poindexter states in his book The Ayar-Incas that primitive Aryan words and people came to America especially from Indo-Arya by the island chains of Polynesia. The very name of the boat in Mexico is a South Indian (Tamil) word: Catamaran.

After 17 years of research I can now claim to have proved my theory of Hindu colonisation of America. The stones in every corner of America speak of Hindu influences.

Let us begin with the Astec calendar known as the Astec Chakra of the Hindu Astronomers. It is the foundation stone of Hindu culture in America. The ancient Americans believe in the four Hindu ages (Yugas or cycles). This Astec calendar (of Hindu origin) depicts the Hindu ages of the world. Mackenzie, author of Myths of Pre-Columbian America, says, “”The doctrine of the world’s ages (Hindu Yugas) was imported into pre-Columbian America. The Mexican sequence is identical with the Hindus. It would be ridiculous to assert that such a strange doctrine was of spontaneous origin in different parts of old and new worlds.”” The very sculpture of the Sun in this calendar bears the imprint of India.

Game of Pachisi

Witness the complicated game of Pachisi as it is played in India and Mexico. Seventy years ago Edward Taylor pointed out that the ancient Mexican game of Patolli was similar in its details to the game of Pachisi played in India and the whole region of Southern Asia.

“It seems clear,” he wrote, “that the Mexican game must have come from Asia.”” Subsequently Stewart Culin showed that even the cosmic meaning of the Mexican game, its relation to the four quarters of the world and to the calendars ascribed to them was essentially the same as in Pachisi. Dr. Kroeber, leading anthropologist of California, observes that “the mathematical probability of two games invented separately, agreeing by chance in so many specific features, is very low. The close correspondence between the rules of the two games indicates a real connection.” Dr. Kroeber however could not find more evidence to link India with America and decided to leave the issue unsolved expressing the hope that fuller and more accurate knowledge would some day solve the dilemma. The Vedic Influence in the Americas is very high.

The Mayans, Incas and Aztecs have their roots in Vedic Dharma and Tamil

The rituals, calendar, Deities worshiped have a close resemblance to Hinduism.

Hindu Trinity – Brahma- Vishnu- Shiva and the Mexican Trinity are Ho- Huitzilopochtli- Tlaloc .

The idols were represented with serpents round their heads, as for Lord Shiva.-basically raised Kundalini.

The Swastika sign of this area , seen on a “huaco” pot had with four dots inside, a Vedic sign .

The ancient American’s dresses (male and female) were simple and similar to those of Hindu dresses.

 

Ayar Inoa King used to wear a turban, earring and a trishul type trident in his hand.

Archaeologists found many Hindu deities like Shiva, black meteorite Shiva linga, Lord Ganesha, Goddess Kali, Sun god Surya , Buddha etc. (in similar or slightly different forms) which were worshiped in ancient America.

Images of Ganesha have been excavated in plenty in Mexico. This god with the elephant’s trunk is frequently depicted in Mexican manuscripts . Lord Ganesha ‘Ekadant Ganesh’ was found in the temple at Kopan .

 

The image of Hanuman called by the name ‘Wilka Huemana’ and measuring 50 feet in height and 12 feet in breadth was found in Guatemala. Similar one was found during an excavation of an Aztec temple in Mexico City and was known as ‘Euhectal’, a wind God, a monkey God.

 

In the jungles of Honduras idols sit in Hindu mudra meditation pose .

The Hindu doctrine of the ages is found on a massive stone monolith popularly known as the Aztec calendar. This amazing piece of stone disc is 12 feet in diameter and weights more than 20 tons.

 

A festival called Sita-Ram (Situa – Raimi) was celebrated in Mexico during Nav-Ratri or Dussehra period which has been described on page 5867 in the book ‘Hamsworth History of the World’.  ( read my post0

Both in Central and South America, there are found Sati cremation, priesthood, gurukul system, yajna, birth, marriage and death ceremonies to some extent similar to the Hindus. When Pizarro killed Peruvian King Atahualpa his 4 wives committed Sati—or self sacrifice.

Same with Hindu concepts of cataclysm, rebirth, four yugas and the concept of two planets like Rahu and Ketu causing solar eclipse

AZTEC OF MEXICO is derived from “worshipper of Ashtabhuja or Ashtak ( 8 armed ) ” , the eight armed God- found in Mexican temples.

Not very much is known about the Koorma Avatar and the number of Temples  for Koorma Avatar (Tortoise), when Lord Vishnu bore the weight of the Meru Mountain while churning the Milky Ocean to beget Nectar.

 

During this process, Lord Shiva swallowed the poison which came out of this process.

The Tortoise Koorma, became uncontrollable an it had to be pacified by reminding that it was an Avatar of Vishnu.

 

Much as one would use a trained elephant to pacify an uncontrollable one, Lord Shiva took the Avatar of Koorma to pacify Vishnu.

 

The temple in Thiru Tandalai, near Vellore, Tamil Nadu has a Shiva Temple, where the Swayambu Lingam(self made) has the markings of  tortoise skin.

 

 

Main Deity is Swayambu Lingam known as Arulmigu Neelneri nadhar and his consort known as Gyanambikai. Teertham is Omaga Teertham and Sthala Vruksham is Orilai Kuruntham.

 

The Moolavar is also known as Sthira Buddhi Easwarar, one who grants steadfastness of Mind.

 

This is a Parihara Sthala for the mentally disturbed.

As we go around the inner prakaram we see, Vinayakar, Arumugar, Soorya Chandran, Arivattaya Nayanar, Natarajar, Cochengat chozar and Siva Lingas worshiped by Vyagyapadhar and Patanjali muni.

 

The Deity is known as Neelneri Natahr in Tamil and is one of the 275 sthalas praised by the Nayanmars(Shiva Bhakthas)

 

The temple is 3 km form Thiruthuraipoondi and can also be reached from Vellore.

In addition to being geographically linked to two Shiva Kshetras of Elements, it is curious to find that there is a Mango Tree, where Lord Shiva and Parvathi got married.

And this Tree is about 3500 years old.

Sage Agastya shows he way to date this tree

The marriage of Shiva and Parvathi, to my knowledge, happened once in Himalayas and the same event was witnessed by Sage Agastya, who could not attend the marriage because Lord Shiva ordered him to proceed to South to counter balance the earth.

This has happened about 40 million years ago, based on earths’ plate movement.

‘Life in the universe is created and destroyed once every 4.1 to 8.2 billion years, which is one full day (day and night) for Brahma. The lifetime of a Brahma is believed to be 311 trillion and 40 billion years-Hindu Cosmology.

‘Eighty million years ago, India was approximately 6400 km (3968 miles) south of the Eurasian plate. Separating the two was the Tethys Sea. The Indo-Australian tectonic plate – containing the continent of Australia, the Indian subcontinent, and surrounding ocean – was pushed northward by the convection currents generated in the inner mantle. As India approached Asia, around 40 million years ago, the Tethys Sea began to shrink and its seabed slowly pushed upwards.’

This is what Agastya had seen, if he had seen it immediately after the marriage when he crossed over the Vindhyas

Another theory is that Agastya came to South around 5000 years ago .

This is based on the  Agastya Star Canopus presence  when Agastya moved to South.

The dates 5000 and 4000 BC

should therefore bracket the probable epoch

of Agastya crossing the Vindhyan mountains.’

As Time is Cyclic in Hinduism, these events keep on occurring  in every  Yuga.

The Kali Yuga is about 5000 years old.

The marriage of Shiva and Parvathi coud have played out again towards the end of Dwapara Yuga  as well around 5000 years ago!

Here we look at how we ascribe Qualities to Objects, source and how these Qualities have become Known to us.

These three Pancha Bhuta(Five elements, Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether) fall in a straight Line at 79 degree 41 minutes East longitude.

I do not take things for granted and I checked with Google Maps.

I called for a search with the search term ’79 degrees 41 minutes Longitude’ in Google(India) Maps India.

The temple for water is in Thiruvanaikaval, fire is in Thiruvannamalai , air is in Kalahasti ,  earth is  in  Kanchipuram  and The temple for space/sky is in Chidambaram.

Earth is nestled between Sky/Ether/Space, Aakasa( Chidambaram) and Air,Vayu(Kalahasti).

Earth is surrounded by Space and Air.

Aakasaath Vayuhu ,Vayor Agni, Agniyor Aapaha, Aapaprithivi.

From Space, Air, Fire from Air, Water from Fire,Earth from water.

Tiruvanaikkaval is located at around 3  degrees to the south and exactly 1 degree to the west of the northern  tip of this divine axis, while Tiruvannamalai is around midway (1.5  degree to the south and 0.5 degree to the west).

Fire and Water are not kept together to facilitate  Evolution.
