From the creator of the Hippocratic Hustle Podcast now comes the new podcast sensation, Hippocratic Holiday- Achievable travel for Physician Families. This podcast is the next best thing to being there yourself. On this show you will Learn tips and tricks for travel to marvelous locations around the globe from physicians and physician families just like you!
I don’t know about you but I was born to travel. I did a home-stay experience and lived with a family in Toulouse, France during high school, and in undergrad I spent 6 months abroad studying at a French business school. During that time I backpacked to England and Switzerland and spent many, many weekends in Paris. and then….. [crickets, long sigh] I went to medical school, and I basically didn’t ever leave the hospital or my house for literally 10 years while I finished residency and fellowship. Who else is like me? Who else is tired of being cooped up indoors? Now I and my family are ready to travel and get out there. and Ive found there are so many places that I want to experience, I’m having a hard time deciding where to go next. So, I created this podcast to help you and I learn together about the many destinations available to us as travelers.
This podcast is meant to set you straight on the path to world and domestic adventure. It will help you get your family out there and experience new places and cultures. And, if you aren’t ready to get out there yourself you can listen as my guests relay the stories of their adventures, and enjoy a good vicarious daydream. Everyone loves escapism!
I also created this show because so many of the podcasts that I found are focused on travel that emphasizes the digital nomad lifestyle— but as physicians often we can’t relate to those shows. I know that physician families are lucky to get a week or 2 off a year to be adventurous, and we want to make the most of that time. But how do new know where to go? What should we do? How do we get there? Will it be a fun place for my kids? \
This show will cover budget kid-friendly weekends to bucket list second honeymoons and everything in between. So come explore with me and my amazing guests.
And do you know the best part? This show features YOU. Are you or your significant other a physician? Do you have an adventure to share with out community?
