It felt strange asking Peter van Noorden, aka my dad, to join me on a podcast, but I knew it would be worth it as his views on talent and working with great people have greatly shaped mine. Peter was the Managing Director of Oxford University Press in Australia⁠, a post that he held for over 10 years, and a place where he could drive a lot of change and hire a lot of great people.

Peter's has always found a way to be incredibly passionate about the work he's doing, and encourages others to find a career where it's easy to be passionate about your work. I'm one of the very lucky people who are friends with the amazing Helen Barclay. Helen is the Managing Director of EnviroDNA, a business where she can positively impact environments, people and the bottom line. Helen's experience at EnviroDNA's sister company, Cesar Australia, built her foundation for applying business and science for conservation purposes. She has worked with Australia’s leading innovation consultancy, Inventium, where she helped hundreds of people and organisations improve through creativity and innovation.
