This episode kicks off season two for our "Sunday 15" messages that run during the baseball season from mid-February through early July.

Jeffrey Springs is currently a starting pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays. Prior to his time with Tampa Bay, Jeffrey pitched for the Boston Red Sox and Texas Rangers. Prior to his professional debut, he played at Appalachian State University and South Point High School. Jeffrey joins us to talk about his baseball journey, the ups and downs, and how God has a plan and purpose through it all.

Pat Combs is a former MLB pitcher that played for the Phillies in the late 1980s through the early 1990s. Pat was an All-American at Baylor University and also played on the 1988 USA Olympic Team. Pat joins us to discuss how he found Christ while playing baseball and how God shaped his baseball career as well as his transition after his career ended. Jake Robbins is a former Major League Pitcher with the Cleveland Indians. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in 1994 and ended his career in the Chicago White Sox organization in 2007. He currently lives in the Charlotte, N.C. area and is co-owner and coach at Showcase Baseball Academy. Jake joins Lincoln, Austin, and Mark to talk pitching in the minors, pitching in the big leagues, and how his faith in Christ helped him stay focused through it all.
