Troubled But Not Distressed!

Pastor Shane will share this week in a series of nuggets that he has entitled, "Troubled" about different things that trouble us in life and how to overcome our troubles with God on our side.

In John 5:1-9, we encounter the account of the healing at the pool of Bethesda. Jesus finds a man who has been an invalid for thirty-eight years lying by the pool, hoping for healing when the water is stirred. Jesus asks him a simple yet profound question, "Do you want to get well?"

God's salvation is offered to every person on this planet. God, by His abundant grace, sent His Son, Jesus Christ to this earth; it is because of Christ's death on the cross, that salvation is available to all people.

The Importance of Prayer

In these verses from Mark 1:29-38, we see Jesus exemplifying the importance of solitude and prayer in His own life. After a busy day of ministry and healing, Jesus sought out a deserted place to spend time in communion with His Father.

"Anxious Hearts to Peaceful Minds!"

In these verses, the apostle Paul provides us with a powerful reminder of the antidote to anxiety - prayer. Instead of allowing worry to consume us, we are encouraged to bring our concerns to God in prayer, with a heart filled with thanksgiving.

TRUST IN THE LORD!
Trusting in the Lord means putting our confidence in Him and relying on Him to guide us through life's challenges. It means acknowledging that God's ways are higher than our ways and that His plans for us are good and perfect. When we trust in the Lord, we can rest assured that He is in control and that He will lead us on the right path.
