Hebrews 10:19–22, "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,  By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;  And having an high priest over the house of God;  Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water."

Spend a few quiet moments reflecting on your access to God through Christ. Journal about any barriers that may be keeping you from drawing near. Think about ways you can deepen your relationship with Him this week, whether through prayer, worship, or studying His Word. Identify a specific step you can take to embrace the assurance of faith and the cleansing power of Christ in your life, and commit to following through on that step.

James 4:8 

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 

Take a few moments in silence to listen for God’s voice. Reflect on your actions and thoughts this past week. Journal your feelings about your relationship with God and any areas where you sense a need for cleansing or clarity. Identify one specific step you can take this week to intentionally draw near to God, and commit to putting that into action. Invite the Holy Spirit to guide you as you seek a deeper relationship with the Lord.

Colossians 3:12–17

12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. 

Matthew 4:18–22

18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him. 21 And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them. 22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him. 

Spend a few moments in silence, reflecting on your role as an image-bearer of God. Journal your thoughts on how you can better reflect His character in your daily life. Identify one specific action you can take this week to engage in stewardship, be fruitful, or celebrate God’s creation, and commit to following through. Invite God’s guidance as you seek to live in alignment with His purposes.

Romans 6:13 

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 

Ephesians 2:8–10 

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
