Sometimes we can get overwhelmed and just feel like we need a place to escape. We read in Psalm 62:7-8 where the Psalmist writes that God was his refuge and his rock.

Jesus came to bear witness to the truth. He lived His life in such a way that testified to the truth of who he was and what he came to do. As His followers, we too are called to bear witness to the truth. We are called to live our lives in a way that testifies to the truth of the gospel.

What have you given to the Lord?  Your life, your worries, your concerns, your cares, and even your failures?

As Christians we have to decide if we are going to obey God or obey others. Are you living for human approval or God’s approval? That’s the question I want to discuss in today’s nugget.

During difficult times, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed and discouraged. We may wonder why God is allowing us to go through such hardship and pain. But as Peter reminds us, our suffering has a purpose. It draws us closer to God and allows us to identify with the suffering of Christ.

Saul's encounter with Jesus reminds us that even in our toughest times, God can still work miracles and change our lives. Saul's transformation from a persecutor of the church to a passionate follower of Christ shows us that God's grace is greater than any sin or mistake we may have committed.

In the midst of tough times, like Daniel, we too can turn to God in prayer. We can be honest with God about our struggles, fears, and doubts. We can confess our sins and ask for His forgiveness. And we can trust in His mercy and faithfulness.

Marriage is a gift from God, and when we find a spouse who is an excellent partner, it is truly a treasure.
