It’s all about the province of Prince Edward Island where I spent some time and got the chance to tour some of the smaller communities near Charlottetown, such as Summerside, North Rustico, and Victoria. As well as the North Cape area, Skinners Pond and West Cape. We ate lots of seafood, drank some local craft beer, took in a couple of Fall Flavor Events and met a lot of very nice people. We also spent a night at the West Point Lighthouse Inn, a place rumored to be haunted. Plus we’ll also play a couple of conversations we had. One was with Ocel Dauphenais Matheson the Visitor Experience Manager for the Port-la-Joye—Fort Amherst National Historic site, one of the oldest settlements in Canada. The other was a stop at the Stompin’ Tom Center, a pretty fascinating place that tells the story and life of Stompin’ Tom Connors.
