Hello, Hello!! Video games play a big role in Jason and I's lives and we wanted to take the time to just have fun and talk about the games we love and hated, what we think about current games and gaming culture, and what we think the future of gaming looks like. Video games used to be considered an addicting and time-wasting hobby but it has evolved into a rich and engaging outlet where people can be apart of a strong community and pass the time in a competitive or casual way. From the first consoles we owned to live streaming and professional gaming, we talk about a lot of different topics related to the world of online gaming. This episode we tried removing some of the structure from the conversation so Jason and I could better be ourselves and I gotta say, it was way more fun. Moving forward we may keep the 3 section format for editing purposes, but we are interested in doing non-topical episodes, changing up the generality or specificity of the topics and alternating our objectives episode by episode. We are also interested in tackling the concept of this podcast and growing with it through each episode. Are we asking what is or is not historically significant? Are we making arguments that things should be significant or not? Is nothing historically significant anymore in this age of information and we are just passing the time having fun conversations? We are continually asking ourselves where this podcast may go, so thanks for joining our journey and more and more of the fun back and forth us friends have will be revealed the more comfortable we get with this format. We put out our streams and socials in this episode, so feel free to reach out if you have any constructive criticism or comments about what you would like to see us talk about!
