I had a lot to fun writing and researching this one.
Larson, Erik. The Demon of Unrest: Abraham Lincoln & America’s Road to Civil War. HarperCollins UK, 2024.

This time we jump into Magna Carta. I promise I'm more interesting than your high school history teacher.
References:
Jones, Dan. The Plantagenets : The Warrior Kings and Queens Who Made England. Viking Peguin Books, 2014.
I highly recommend all of Dan's books, as well as his spectacular podcast, This is History: A Dynasty to Die For. You can get really stuck in with John and his dismal reign. If you become a subscriber, you can also hear me on one of the bonus episodes and see where this podcast got its name!
I also used Wikipedia for quick name, place and date looks ups. I did use the Magna Carta article quite a bit for dates and such.

Did Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn Love Each Other—or was it something toxic?
Join me as I explore the beginnings of one of the most infamous relationships in history.
I used:
Weir, A. (2018). The six wives of henry VIII Alison Weir. Grove Press.
Highly recommend all of her books, both fiction and nonfiction.
I also used Wikipedia for quick date and spelling checks.

On this introduction episode, I'll introduce myself and my snarky brand of history retelling. I'll be asking questions that'll I'll try to answer using sources and my own evidence based opinion. Join me for history lesson that's a lot more fun than that old fogey in high school ever had! Stay curious and stay snarky!
