For Episode 7, which was recorded on Monday 24 June 2024, I was joined by Lavinia who shared her experience of visiting Versailles Palace, France. It was great to speak to Lavinia and record the first episode of a non-UK palace or castle! Lavinia shares her knowledge of the French monarchs who called Versailles home and what happened to it during the French Revolution.

For Episode 6 which was recorded on Sunday 23 June 2024, I was joined by Rob who shared his experience of visiting Salisbury Cathedral in Wiltshire, England. It was great to welcome Rob back on the podcast and hear about the Cathedral including its construction, spire and treasures of the library.

For Episode 5 of Season 2, which was recorded on Wednesday 19th June 2024, I was joined again by Meg (who came on for Season 1 to talk about Hardwick Hall). Meg spoke about her visit to Charterhouse, London. It was great to have Meg on the podcast again and hear about her experience visiting this gem in Central London.

For this episode of Season 2 which was recorded on Monday 3rd June 2024, I was delighted to be joined again by Amy who spoke about Smallhythe Place in Kent, South East England.

For this episode of Season 2 which was recorded on Friday 26 April 2024, I was delighted to be joined by Dani who spoke about Leeds Castle in Kent, South East England.

It was great to chat to Dani and hear about her dissertation on exploring medieval Queenship, infertility, childlessness and pilgrimage. Dani spoke about the Queens of Leeds Castle including Anne of Bohemia. If you would like to learn more about Anne, Dani recommended to me that you can read historian Kristen Geaman.

For the final episode of Season 1 which was recorded on Sunday 21 January 2024, I was joined by Kerri from Episode 1 (Let's talk about... The Tower of London). It was lovely to have Kerri back on the podcast and hear about her experience of visiting one of the UK's favourite castles, Hever Castle in Kent, South East England. It was great to hear about the Tudor history of Hever as well as the Astor family who owned Hever in the early 1900s.

For Episode 11 which was recorded on Tuesday 9 January 2024, I was joined by Jess who shared her experience of visiting Little Moreton Hall. It was lovely speaking with Jess and hearing about the history of the family and why the house is wonky!
