HIT n RUN

Ever feel like the Highways and Byways of life are so rough, that you have to stop on the side of the road? That’s exactly where I found myself a couple of years ago... Camped out on the side of the road, waiting for someone to stop and help....

Nutrition is just about the food you eat or the drinks your take into your body. My brother trucker, Jason, has a tremendous passion for this very thing. And as we became acquainted with each other, Jason HIT me with a BIG LIGHT BULB moment!

The answer to where is the richest place on the planet... It’s not the Middle East with all it’s oil.. .and it’s not in South Africa with all those diamonds... It’s in the graveyard... The graveyard? How can that be? Don’t they build fences around cemeteries because people are dying to get inside? Just a quip of humor..lol.

BAM! HITting you with some WEEDS n SEEDS tonight! If Seeds are like thoughts, then I’ve got a HUGE problem. I need to do as Voltaire said... “Let Us Cultivate Our Garden” and when all is said and done... In the end, I will RUN...

Books are windows AND they are mirrors. Ever go to the window and look outside... then when the light is just right and look at the window just at the right angle, you notice that the window becomes a mirror. That was my experience with Gale Sayers autobiography, I Am Third. At first, I peered into the window and saw my hero, Gale Sayers, but then I began to notice my reflection in the mirror as he explained the title of the book. I thought Gale Sayers was NUMBER ONE... but once I learned that God is FIRST, my friends/family are SECOND and that I am THIRD... I saw myself in that BOOK!!

Living like Floyd the Foolish for 45 years has resulted in a life my grandpa would not be proud of... but now, I am becoming much more like William the Wise... I am building blueprints for my life which are helping me to build a life my grandpa would be soooo proud of... Thank you grandpa for helping me to have a spiritual foundation upon which I can still build even 4 and a half decades after you took the time to help be build on the ROCK!
