Leonard was a standout QB at Dos Palos just like his older brothers. He went on to play baseball for FCC and was an 8th rd. pick in 2004 by the Montreal Expos. He spent nine seasons in professional baseball and in 2008 was name the Washington Nationals Minor League player of the year. He is currently the baseball coach at Dos Palos High School.
