    Aktualizacja 6 pakietów związanych z libheif, czyli obsługą formatów obrazu HEIF/HEIC oraz AVIF w Sparky Linux na bazie Debiana 13 „Trixie”.

    Co dokładnie się aktualizuje

    Na ekranie masz:

    libheif-plugin-aomenc
    libheif-plugin-dav1d
    libheif-plugin-libde265
    libheif-plugin-x265
    libheif1

    Pobieranych jest tylko 931 kB, a po instalacji zajęte miejsce praktycznie się nie zmienia.

    Co ważne, jest to aktualizacja pochodząca z Debian Security (debian-security trixie-security). Debian wskazuje, że aktualizacja libheif usuwa/naprawia szereg problemów bezpieczeństwa związanych z przetwarzaniem specjalnie przygotowanych plików HEIF/AVIF, m.in. możliwość błędów odczytu pamięci czy zawieszenia procesu.

    Do czego służą te pakiety?

    To nie jest więc aktualizacja całego środowiska graficznego Sparky Linux. Dotyczy przede wszystkim obsługi nowoczesnych formatów zdjęć:

    HEIF/HEIC – format często spotykany na smartfonach, szczególnie przy zdjęciach z iPhone'ów.

    AVIF – nowoczesny format obrazu używany również w internecie.
    dav1d, libde265, x265, aom – komponenty wykorzystywane do dekodowania/enkodowania odpowiednich danych obrazu.

    Czyli aktualizacja jest mała, ale ma znaczenie przede wszystkim dla bezpieczeństwa i poprawnego przetwarzania plików graficznych.
