  • Special Guest- Kolton Hall

Welcome to another episode of Hitting the Streets Podcast. Today on the show I have Kolton Hall. We are discussing men's mental health and overall mental health.

Kolton Hall takes on the role of an advocate, supporter, and non-judgmental listener. He works with individuals who aspire to seek growth, change, and well-being in their lives. Kolton focuses on supporting those who seek healing from difficult traumas, hurtful loss, heartache, and any incongruencies that they perceive as damaging their lives. This support extends to people of all ages, sexual or gender minorities, and individuals from any culture or race. Clients need a safe place to share their unique experiences, and it is Kolton's goal to provide that. When people feel safe, unbiasedly heard, and embrace healthy vulnerability, true self-growth occurs.

  • Surrender House For Men

Welcome to another episode of Hitting The Streets Podcast! Today on the show, I have Surrender House For Men .The Surrender House for Men is located in Denison, TX. It was established in 2006 for men in recovery as a part of the 12 step program. Residents are subject to random testing and AA meetings are required. The goal is to gain employment, transportation and eventually their own housing. The probability of recovery for those that live in the house and participate in their own recovery is excellent.

  • Special Guest - Stephen Clayton

Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Hitting the Streets Podcast! Today, I'm thrilled to feature Stephen Clayton, a candidate running for SISD School Board Place 2. I had a fantastic time interviewing him and gained valuable insights into Stephen's background and his vision for the school board.

    Stephen Clayton
I am a father of three amazing Sherman ISD students from eighth grade down to kindergarten. I am here for the long-haul. I am an active participant in the PTAs of the two schools my kids attend, a band dad, an athletics dad and have been known to cook a hot dog or two at Neblett.

I am a committed community member. I have served on the board of the Sherman Community Players, led the administrative council at my church, and volunteered, all in the name of making Sherman a great place to live. I am a graduate of Austin College, and moved back to Sherman to raise my family, be near friends, and support aging family members.

I believe that great education, starting with strong public schools are the cornerstone of the community. My grandparents were both teachers in Sherman schools. My sister and father both have master’s degrees in education from Austin College and I have taught economics for the College off and on for nearly 10 years.

And now I am ready to take on the challenge of representing our entire community by running for School Board.
