What's hitz fm about?
Incorporated in 1997, hitzfm still reigns as Malaysia’s No.1 English
radio station till today. According to the latest Nielsen Radio
Audience Measurement, Wave 2, 2012, hitzfm is ranked No.7 among
the Top 10 most-listened-to radio stations in the country with 1.7
million listeners tuning in weekly. The targeted listeners are between
10-29 years of age and the total time spent by listeners tuning-in to
the station is recorded at 6 hours 54 minutes. This has led to an
increase of audience from 185,000 to 214,000 listeners, amounting
to 12.5% in 2012 compared to the previous rating only at 9.3%
