Hello, friends of Hive! This is my first participation in this community and, at the same time, my first appearance singing on the platform. I'm not good at singing, however, like everyone here I wanted to share a song that I really like and that I think meets the characteristics to fit this week's theme.
Fito y Fitipaldis is a Spanish Rock and Roll group that composes very good lyrics and accompanies them with catchy melodies, thus achieving a very characteristic sound and a lot of poetic content.
In my way of interpreting this song, I feel that the composer wants to express that he is in search of "the melody" of his life, that is, he makes an analogy between the meaning of his existence and the melody of a song, expressing that although he has not found it yet, he has to devote the maximum of his remaining time to discover it.
One of the phrases that I like the most in this song is "Y nunca me ha encantado mi voz", because unlike Fito, I don't have a voice that is pleasant to sing with. However, despite being a little stuffy, I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to pass this song on to everyone who doesn't know it, so that maybe they can identify with it in the same way I do (I mean the whole song, not just the vocal verse!).
Por aca les dejo el tema original.
Acabo de llegar
Qué te voy a decir
Dejadme nacer
Nunca lo escribí en un papel
Y yo que siempre voy detrás del error
Dime tú qué puede saber
Qué te voy a decir
Dejadme nacer
La vida es algo que hay que morder
Por eso siempre digo que no
Qué te voy a decir
Dejadme nacer
I have just arrived
What can I tell you
Let me be born
I never wrote it down on paper
And I who always go after the mistake
Tell me what can you know
What can I tell you
Let me be born
Life is something to be bitten
That's why I always say no
What can I tell you
Let me be born
