Greetings my fellow lovers of the hive blockchain, welcome to another week on the open mic community. The theme for this week is "Summer Love" and to that I'll be doing a cover to question by Chris Brown.
For music lovers and people who are fans of RnB and western hip pop songs during the early 2000s will immediately recognize the familiarities between it and Kevin Lyttle’s Turn Me On from 2003. Question is most definitely a sample of Turn me on with a dancehall/ reggae vibe to polish it up even more.
Next thing to notice is the catchy rhythms, summer style that makes you feel like it is most definitely a groove. Starting it off with "From the moment you were dancing at the party", you already know you are about to get caught up with something that'll push you to dancing, singing and screaming at the same time once you get to learn the lyrics to this beauty.
Summer Love is energetic, raw, sensation, beautiful,alluring and many more, all of which this song represents. At some point I nearly felt it was 100% better than the original, however I still don't want to downplay the beauty of what came before QUESTION.
The song is definitely a must listen, give it a shot and I bet you won't be stuck asking questions.
