This episode looks at Romance and Heartbreak. Each month we select a theme for the members of the group to create short audio dramas. We have an ongoing challenge to see if we can produce a piece that is 60 seconds or less, and this month we have a poem for you to hear. 

Our group meets every Wednesday, sometimes virtually, other times in person especially when we have a new project developing. We aim to meet the first Wednesday of the month at Perth Green Community Association in Jarrow.

This month looks at Resolutions, Revelations and Revolutions. Short Audio Dramas.

This month we announce the winners of our Audio Drama writing competition. We also challenged our group to create short pieces, under one minute, more difficult that it seemed, however the pieces they have created tell some great stories.

This month we look at remembrance with some thought provoking pieces.  

After a very busy October for Hive Radio Storytellers, we have selected some of the groups favourite stories written and performed by the group, as well as introducing you to a new project we are working on. 

Our podcast this month looks at tales of the sea maybe with a couple of tenuous links. Talk like a pirate day is in September therefore we just had to take a step towards that too. 

Our latest podcast has its usual factional stories of the area by the Hive Radio Storytellers. This month we also have a guest - Adam Bell from South Shields Museum and Art Gallery who came along to talk about collecting Oral History recordings that will be part of an exhibition next year about the Shipbuilding and Ship Repair industries of South Tyneside.

Our podcast for July looks at Secrets and Lies. 

We were all looking forward to more freedom in June 2021, and this provided us with the theme for this months podcast. 

May is Local History Month so the Hive Radio Storytellers have created fictional stories based on actual historical places and events around the North East of England.
