Loving God more than wealth is what I pray for on a daily basis because if one is not careful he gets carried away with the cares of these world. When all man's needs seems to be met there is this tendency to feel that God does not exist.

Father Abraham had all the wealth one can think of in this world but at the same time he was strongly devoted to God and his voice. He always seek to do what God desired him to do. A man can be said to be wealthy when all these factors are fully met. The first is when he have good relationship with his marker, and secondly he have good family bounding and the last part of it is his society is at peace with him.

This is to say, many people that we rate as wealthy today are not because all these factors are not in place, they are just rich.

For this week's edition with the title "Wealth" I will be doing a song cover ***Goodness of God by Cece Winans***. It is my recommitment to God to keep loving him in all situation. The mercy of God endures through all generation. Scientists have tried all they could to trace this supreme been but always they come out as failures.

It is good to be back with you in this community again and with this amazing topic, "Come Back." Happy Throwback Thursday to everyone here; it feels so good to be with you all today. For today's memory, I will be sharing with you an event that took place last week Friday in my state.


Just last week, on Friday, we went to honor my brother-in-law with our presence as he was being inaugurated as the chairman of ICAN Nasarawa State. My brother-in-law is one man who is so dedicated to service that no one who works with him will not want to have him around regularly. ICAN is an acronym that stands for Institution for Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and he has the title of Fellow.


He served as the secretary, vice chairman, and now chairman. It was a great occasion because people from all walks of life attended this program with diverse testimony of his dedication to service.Our family, both immediate and extended, was in full representation. My parents-in-law weren't in full knowledge of the whole thing, so Eve to the D-Day, my husband informed them of the occasion and told them to come out in their best. With much surprise, they said initially my brother-in-law invited them to come over for a hospital checkup.



My brother-in-law in his speech recognized his family's support, which left many in tears. In his words, he said, "He was hopeless until hope came into his life." His wife's name is Hope, and his elder brother's wife's too; that's to say there's no place for hopelessness at all in my family.It was really a great program, which everyone was so proud of and felt as if it should not come to an end. It was also a moment to reunite with lots of people, as occasions like this don't come frequently.

The cake that was used for this occasion was graciously baked by my brother in-laws wife. Thank you all for visiting my blog today. See you next time.

What a blessed week already. It is Hive Open Mic Week for week 272 and another opportunity to listen to different sounds from all over the world. Music is life, and it is an interesting thing for me to always be with you.

For this week I will be doing this short song, "Go Tell It on the Mountain," which is in line with the theme for this week, which says, "Ring the bell." When one is told to ring the bell, he is just being told to make an official announcement about a thing whose time is at hand.

It is another week to celebrate this community through music from all over the world and the theme for this week is "Mountain".

There is no mountain that is beneath the earth, every mountain is up and anyone who wants to behold it will have to look up. When one climbs a mountain and views the world it feels that the world is under your feet because of how small it appears to the viewer.

God is the one who we look up to for help in every situation as the help of man maybe worthless and nothing to write home about because of the way they may want us to keep bowing. God is the only one who wants make us feel terrible after helping us.

Greetings to everyone in this community of music lovers and beyond. It is another week to express ourselves through songs, and the theme for this week is "Holy Spirit." In the church calendar, last Sunday was tagged "Pentecost Day." The word "Pentecost" is used to represent fifty days after the Ascension and also the day the disciples received the promise of their master, Jesus Christ, as he told them before he left that he would pray to the Father to send them a comforter, the Holy Spirit, who would guide them into all truth and show them things to come.

The Holy Spirit is not of the Pentecostal denomination, nor is he of the Orthodox setting. For this week I will be doing a song by David Dam titled "Ebenezer." The Holy Spirit is my helper; when I get stuck in the middle of the road, he shows me the way to go, and the result is always perfect.

When we engage the Holy Spirit in all we do, we will always be correct.One major thing that happened to the apostles after the Holy Ghost was released was that he gave them the boldness to preach the gospel. Imagine Peter, who could not stand after his master was arrested, gained the audacity to talk, and 3000 persons accepted the Gospel. We are expected to bear the good news today because the promise of the Father is still with us.
