Congratulations to all the hard workers from DEAR day. There were 33,000 minutes of reading from both high schoolers and middle schoolers.
On April 17, Hope is closed to classes, so all assignments will be done at home. 7, 8, 10, and 12th graders will take the IOWA assessment, while Juniors and Freshmen will do satellite work. But hey, at least you don't have to take any standardized assessments! APRIL FOOLS!
Actually… On April 22 Juniors will take the ACT and on April 23 Freshmen take Pre-ACT.
The HLA theatre department is performing The Little Mermaid very soon! The show will be April 10-12. Tickets are selling out fast, so if you want to attend get your tickets soon!

Put your career caps on for Thursday, April 24 to explore more career options for future job opportunities! This will be held during the High School lunch in the lunch hall, where you can ask questions to many people who have jobs that you are interested in. Ask your parents if they would like to share their job experiences!
Juniors and seniors, the Prom is quickly approaching! If you would like to attend, please fill out the form as soon as possible. This event will take place on May 9th. Have fun!
