Our first cohort of STAR Leaders from the STAR Leadership Academy, who graduated last December, have returned to complete their high school education. Our 7Ms team have launched a digital campaign on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and we encourage you all to join the movement by following, liking and sharing their pages! and On the 30th of January 2020, the first-ever World NTD Day will be celebrated around the globe.

This week our education teams participated in a high-level Strategic workshop facilitated by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. In Lesotho the team distributed food packs to the 73 children at Beautiful Gate Orphanage and our SLA students took part in a tree planting exercise at St Joseph's primary school.

Ms Maramba represented GI at the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) AGM held in Bulawayo. Our Executive Co-Chair, Mrs Masiyiwa spoke on “The Importance of Empowered People in Creating Prosperity” at the 13th Legatum Prosperity Index Launch. Our STAR Leaders visited the National Heroes Acre and travelled to Domboshava to hike up Ngomakurira, and the 7M’s team are gearing up for the upcoming tree planting season.

This week our #ChurchWithoutWalls teams were in Glen Norah ministering to over 1000 people, our Burundi team hosted a workshop with the UNFPA, Liquid Scholars participated in a technopreneurship town hall in Kenya and our SLA students held a session with conservation experts and leaders in Zimbabwe.

This week our Lesotho team hosted YYAS Associate Director Ms Lucy Appiah, the Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI) have opened their 2020 scholarship applications, Global Intercessors (GI), who held a two day training program on Vision 2050, under our Education Pillar, HLF signed a key MoU with the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development, our Leadership and Lifelong development team participated in the Gweru Youth Festival, and the High Flyers Team is hosted the first High Flyer Medical Doctors Pinning Ceremony.

This week our Westgate teams are involved in a clean up campaign in Mt Hampden, the Burundi team held a coding session for 56 students, Global Intercessors joined the Steering Committee for the Purpose Driven Initiative in Zimbabwe, we celebrate our students who graduated from Harare Institute of Technology, and our Executive Co-Chair, Mrs M, will be attending and speaking at the African Women in Dialogue Forum from the 4th to the 8th of November.
