Explore with me, as a mother and sex coach, two disturbing stories from the U.S. and Argentina that raise urgent questions about consent, objectification, and rape culture. I challenge the sexual taboos and silences we've inherited—and often passed on—while making the case for a sexual ethical frame that goes beyond consent to embrace true desire, pleasure, and care. Because when it comes to sex, are we truly seeing the human being on the other side?

I revisit some of the things I thought I had figured out by this point in life: how to mother a child who's starting to fly and what desire is supposed to look like after fifty. Somewhere between becoming an empty nester and five very intense hours with Mr. D, I realize that growing older may be is less about knowing and more about continuing to pay attention. How much of what we "know" is simply what we've been taught to expect by now?

I'm back at HMH after a hiatus to share the emotional tsunami of a summer shaped by graduations, an empty nest, and an unexpected new wave of migrant grief. I reflect on intercultural identity, momancholy, and the losses that emerge precisely because life turned out well, life is good. This is also a release of a new season: SUSTAIN. And before I go, I return to my story with Mr. D with a two-word teaser: five hours. What if growing older also means learning to celebrate and grieve at the same time?

I revisit the case of Mr. D to narrate a first date, testimony to an improbable connection built word by word, one that did not even include a goodbye kiss. I reflect on erotic capital, the contemporary crisis of dating, the value of presence, and ultimately the economy of desire, linking that encounter to what long-term couples also need to stay alive. What if investing in desire were a relational practice far deeper than we tend to believe?

I'm letting go of an episode and putting an uncomfortable truth front and center: consent is a living, breathing process, always open to revisiting. I notice how life—and my own transitions—reshapes the way I create and connect. I'm exploring the ethics of consent not just in action, but in the words we share and what we bring to the air.
Then I open a new chapter: the story of Mr. D. Here, desire starts to emerge through conversation, language, and erotic compatibility. And I wonder: when all that groundwork is laid, will real chemistry show up when we finally meet?

I launch Lady Abyss & Co. and honor this girlfriends' conversation as a vital space where we regulate and voice the unsaid. Joining me today "My dear friend M from far far away". I point out that in long-term relationships, it's not always conflict but silence, (alongside desire discrepancy) that quietly extinguishes the erotic. I propose we see sexuality as an energy that doesn't expire, but reveals the temperature of the bond over time. I ask, then: when desire falls out of sync and dialogue disappears, are we still alive in that relationship?

I explore the prehistory of my hotwifing journey to recognize that not every man who desires me can inhabit the role of a third without trying to infiltrate. Integrate the lesson of the "non-case" and, through the model of Erotic Blueprints, understand that if someone cannot get turned on by the structure and the limits, he doesn't want to play — he wants to expand. Reaffirm that the success of the triangle depends as much on the third's emotional sophistication as on the couple's solidity, and that the real risk isn't romance but the lack of relational literacy. What if integration simply means spotting infiltrators before they step through the door?

I return to the mic to talk about the "endless month" and how January, so quiet and slow, exposes the exhaustion left behind by a December that forces us to perform. I reflect on the these holidays as cultural scripts built around "presence", manufactured magic, and feminized emotional labor, placing them in dialogue with other scripts that also begin to crack in midlife: like automatic monogamy. From my experience as an expat and from the additional rupture brought by hotwifing, I invite the audience to revisit these ideas and obligations not to escape them, but to fully live through them with more awareness, agency, and truth.
If we are learning how to step out of the sexual script, why keep obeying the emotional one that comes with changing the calendar without due introspection?

I turn discomfort into an ally to read the symptoms my body began to show and dare to reach an honest diagnosis. Acknowledge how unintegrated voracity, mixed with romance and someone else's anxiety, can push relationships beyond my limits. Choose to cut in time as a treatment, not as escape but as integration, couple dialogue, and radical honesty with my desire. What if telling the truth in time is also a profound form of care, responsibilty and courage?

I return first to a sensitive theme: the illusion that we can always open up to our friends, and the clarity that comes when we realize that vulnerability is a choice, not a reflex.
From there, I move into the story of Mr. S and today's core concept: emotional overload. I explore how the lack of integration, desire disguised as urgency, and the distortions of text-based exchanges can overwhelm us before we even notice… and how intuition starts whispering when something doesn't quite feel right, even without "evidence."
Because sometimes the only thing that truly matters is how it feels in the body. Is there any inner compass more powerful than intuition ?
